A room block is available at the Omni Hotel from $189 / night. These rooms must be booked by Sept. 16, 2009. While there are other hotels in close proximety to the Omni, there aren't too many rooms available due to the football game at UVA on Saturday.

The Omni hotel is difficult to find via Internet or GPS directions. The Omni Charlottesville webpage has directions available to download to your TomTom, or you may want to call the hotel for more specific directions at (434) 971-5500.

Also, there are many alternate forms of transportation available. The Amtrak Station is within walking distance to the hotel, and there is a full-time bus shuttle from NYC to Charlottesville called the Starlight Express. Please visit our local page for links to more area transit options.
